Activities see residents come out of their shell at The Haven

We always offer a wide range of activities for our residents to enjoy but we also know moving into a care home can be daunting, so when we see an activity bringing our residents out of their shell we can’t help but yell about it.
At The Haven our wonderful resident Joan has been reluctant at times to join in with group activities, but the Christmas spirit seems to have given her the boost she needed.
Joan chose to take part in our Gingerbread house making activity in the lead up to Christmas, creating a truly beautiful gingerbread house.
We love to see our residents gaining confidence and it’s lovely to see Joan becoming more involved with clubs and activities, as well as making friends with her fellow residents and staff.
We think you did an amazing job Joan, and we can’t wait to see what you do next!
