The Company started as Business Consultants to the Care Sector primarily instructed to give advice to UK Banks, before purchasing its first Care Home in 1994. Meet the Team
Tom Lyons
Managing Director
As Managing Director Tom is the most senior full-time executive of the company. He is responsible for the overall performance of the company, as dictated by the boards overall strategy.
In his spare time, Tom enjoys various fitness activities including cycling and running, and has taken part in multiple long distance challenges.
Susan Webster
Operations Director
As Operations Director Susan’s role sits at the heart of the company. She oversees all operational aspects of the business and company strategy, helps set goals, and is responsible for the flow of information to the managing director and board of directors.
In her spare time, Susan enjoys spending time with her daughter and riding her horse.
Ria Odgers
Regional Manager
As Regional Manager Ria is responsible for the oversight and corporate level management of five Black Swan Care Group homes. Her role is essential for providing support to the homes' registered managers and staff teams.
Ria is also Black Swan Care Group’s Dementia champion. In her spare time you will find Ria in the stables taking care of her horses with her daughters.
Kieran James
Regional Manager
As Regional Manager Kieran is responsible for the oversight and corporate level management of five Black Swan Care Group Homes. His role is essential for providing support to the homes registered manager and staff team.
Kieran was formerly an inspector for the Care Quality Commission and has previously inspected Black Swan Care Group homes before joining us in January 2021.
Zoe Cattermole
Regional Manager
As Regional Manager Zoe is responsible for the oversight and corporate level management of three Black Swan Care Group Homes. Her role is essential for providing support to the homes registered manager and staff team.
Zoe was formerly an inspector for the Care Quality Commission and has previously inspected Black Swan Care Group homes before joining us in April 2021.
Amanda Bensly
Regional Manager
As Regional Manager Amanda is responsible for the oversight and corporate level management of four Black Swan Care Group Homes. Her role is essential for providing support to the homes' registered managers and staff teams.
Amanda joined the Regional Management team in 2022 as our newest addition, and we are happy to have her onboard.
James Key
Regional Manager
As Regional Manager James is responsible for the oversight and corporate level management of four Black Swan Care Group Homes. His role is essential for providing support to the homes' registered managers and staff teams.
