Fun In All Stages of Life
In our care homes, we spend time understanding the likes and dislikes of our residents. By taking the time to do this, we can provide activities based on their individual preferences. Residents can experience a huge variety of interesting and stimulating activities and entertainment including one-to-one and group activities.
Regular activities might include:
- flower arranging
- art and craft sessions
- quizzes
- tea parties
As well as these activities, entertainers often come and visit us too – examples from past events include music, dancing, petting zoos and visits from local school children.
We actively encourage residents to take advantage of the lovely outside spaces found in all of our homes. Whether they like a spot of gardening or just want to enjoy the warmer weather in Spring or Summer, we’ll support them to join in with the planting and maintenance of the gardens and enjoying the outside space.
As you would expect, special holidays like Christmas, Easter, Valentine’s Day and Halloween are incorporated into our activity calendar and residents’ birthdays are always celebrated with a party and a big slice of cake!
