The Beeches is sponsoring East Harling FC, a football team dear to our residents hearts. We made the decision to sponsor the team early this year due to our residents enjoyment of watching them play.
Every year our residents watch matches in the village, which is particularly poignant now due to our residents disappointment at not being able to watch their favourite team play due to the lockdown.
They are very much looking forward to being able to watch them play live again in the future, and sponsoring a team which brings so much joy to our residents is the very least we can do.
Laurel Lodge has made the decision to sponsor the Gorleston Rangers U12’s team – with manager Danielle Bullent’s own son playing on the team. Football is incredibly important to a number of our residents at Laurel Lodge, especially Roy who is a lifelong Canaries fan.
Prior to lockdown our residents were even lucky enough to meet some of the players from Norwich City FC Academy who play for the younger teams, and hope to be professional players one day. This was a really special moment for our residents as they got to meet the emerging talent in their favourite sport.
Sponsoring a young team is something we’re very passionate about, as it teaches the skills of teamwork, discipline and the importance of doing something you’re passionate about.
This is something we are passionate about as a company, which is why our head office has made the decision to sponsor another youth team. One of our administrators – the wonderful Teresa Colledge – has a son on the Sprowston Hawks U14’s and we are proud to say we will be sponsoring them in their upcoming season.
We can’t wait to see the football kits when they’re ready and we wish you all the luck for the best season possible when playing is able to recommence. Good luck!
We have many care homes throughout the East of England, providing high-quality care to our residents. Get in touch with our team today.
