More recognition for excellent care at Essex Care Awards

We are delighted to share that our high quality care has been recognised at this year's Essex Care Awards - known as The Prospers.

There was a friendly battle between Volunteer Peggy Duckett who supports Maitland House in Clacton and Jose Mabini, chef at The Lodge in Walton on the Naze. Both were on the shortlist in the Unsung Hero category at the awards.

Peggy received a Commended certificate - she has been volunteering at Maitland House for a number of years, supporting the residents and helping the staff. 

Jose meanwhile received a Highly Commended trophy and certificate for his efforts at The Lodge. He is the Chef at the home and is renowned for his tasty and wonderful food at the home. This is the second award in a month for Jose after winning the Catering Award at Black Swan's company care awards.
