We are delighted to say that the world is beginning to return to normal in the wake of the Coronavirus pandemic, and Black Swan Care Group residents in Cambridgeshire made the most of the restrictions being eased by hosting their first cross-home event since 2020!
Residents from Southwell Court Care Home in Royston travelled to fellow Black Swan neighbours at Potton View Care Home in Gamlingay to enjoy a taste of the summer in the recent warm weather in the region.
This wonderful event saw two groups of residents who had been kept separate from regular entertainers, family and friends, and other Black Swan Care Group homes throughout the pandemic due to the lockdowns, chat and reconnect in the sunshine.
This event signifies a lot more than our residents enjoying a fantastic BBQ in beautiful weather; it is a sign that we are returning to normal in some ways. It is allowing our residents to reunite with old friends, and share memorable and enriching experiences with people they love in a safe, and relaxing environment.
We wanted to share our sincerest thanks to our staff teams of both of these wonderful homes, who went above and beyond to make this event extra special for each and every resident.
