Promoting Learning Disability Week in our homes

We're celebrating Learning Disability Week - which runs from 19th to 25th June this year.

For Learning Disability Week 2023, Mencap are encouraging people to show the world the incredible things that people with a learning disability achieve, smashing misconceptions about what people can do and shining a light on the stigma many still face every day.

As well as our homes for older people, we also have 4 homes who support adults with physical and learning disabilities. These are Belamacanda in Clacton; Drummonds in Feering, near Colchester; Mid-Meadows in Frinton-on-sea and Westfield House in Dereham, Norfolk.

Our fabulous residents from these homes certainly live life to the full as these photos from Belamacanda show!
