In December a number of our staff attended Addenbrooke’s hospital in Cambridgeshire to receive the first part of their vaccine, with the remaining staff and residents receiving their first jab on January 23rd.
We wanted to extend our sincerest thanks to all of the staff at Addenbrooke’s; our GP’s, and support staff who have made it possible to have 100% of the home vaccinated.
Activities coordinator Sharon Nickerson told us what an impact having the vaccine has had on staff and residents:
“Our residents received their Coronavirus vaccinations on Saturday, the whole home was full of cheer and hope for the future on this momentous day”.
We wanted to extend our thanks to registered manager Jo Cahill, Activities coordinator Sharon Nickerson, Deputy manager Sonia Ramsey, and the entire team for helping our residents make their own decisions about the vaccination, and making them feel at ease throughout the whole process.
You are all a shining example of social care excellence and we are so proud of you all.
We have many care homes throughout the East of England, providing high-quality care to our residents. Get in touch with our team today.
