The charity emotionally, physically and financially support people going through treatment for cancer, and is made up of people who have survived cancer, or whose lives have been effected by the disease.
Paula wanted to make a positive difference to the world – which is just the kind of person she is!
She braved the shave on March 1st at the home, and had her head shaved by our accommodating deputy manager Paul.
Paula was overjoyed with the amount of sponsorship she got, raising a whopping £193.50 in total.
That’s an incredible amount of money and we’re very proud that we were able to help her to carry out such a wonderful and selfless act.
Paula had grown her hair long especially so she would be able to make the biggest donation possible, having grown it since the beginning of Summer 2019. Her hair has been donated to ‘The Little Princess Trust’ which makes wigs for children undergoing cancer treatment.
