Valentine House Care Home

Valentine House is an elderly care home in Silver End, a small village in Essex, between Braintree and Witham. The Home is a large care facility able to accommodate up to 50 residents, including special support for those living with Dementia.

Following an extensive renovation, Valentine House now offers modern en-suite bedrooms designed for comfort and accessibility. Our spacious living spaces attract residents not only from Silver End but also from surrounding areas such as Braintree and Witham, where families seek quality, well-connected care options in Essex. Valentine House has been rated as ‘Good’ by the Care Quality Commission with an ‘Outstanding’ line in the Responsive category.

Valentine House benefits from a beautiful private garden with modern patios, and a large grassy area backing onto the home’s private carpark which our residents loved ones can use at their leisure.

Whether sharing a meal outdoors, celebrating a birthday, or welcoming visiting family from nearby Braintree or Witham, these gatherings help create lasting memories in a relaxed and familiar setting.

The home features a number of communal areas including the lounge, a well presented dining room, a public house style area, and quiet spaces for our residents relaxation. Valentine House also has an in-house salon where residents can book hairdressing and nail care appointments on a regular basis. All floors can be accessed via lift to ensure mobility is not an issue for any of our residents.

Set in the charming village of Silver End, Valentine House enjoys a prime location with local amenities just a short stroll away. Many of our residents and their families have connections to nearby Braintree and Witham, making visits and outings effortless while keeping residents engaged with familiar surroundings.

The home is lucky enough to be directly next to the beautiful memorial garden, and a short walk from the nearby Church. Valentine House is situated directly at the heart of the village with a row of shops, and a doctors surgery directly opposite the homes entrance.
